Feeding guidelines are general recommendations only. The amount of food required by your cat may vary above or below that listed in this feeding guide. In consultation with your veterinarian it is recommended that you weight your cat 4 – 6 weeks after starting a new diet in order to adjust food intake to maintain or achieve an optimal body weight and body condition score. Consult your veterinarian for specific feeding guidelines for your cat. This diet is formulated to be complete and balanced. It is unnecessary to feed leftover foods, kitchen scraps or additional supplements. It is recommended that your cat be fed 2 – 4 equal portions of the diet per day. Ensure fresh drinking water is available at all times. Store this product in a cool, dry place.

Transition InstructionsWe recommend at least a 7 day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. This allows your pet’s digestive system to smoothly adapt to the new food.
